2.1 Information You Provide to Us

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password
• Payment information: When you make a purchase, your payment information is processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe) and is not stored on our servers

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

2.3 Information from Connected Accounts

You can sign in with, or link, a third-party account. We receive data from a provider only after you authorize it, and only the data described below.

• Google: Your email address and Google account identifier, used to create and sign you in to your IdkBox account.
• Discord: Your Discord account identifier, an access token, and the list of Discord servers you belong to, including each server's name and icon. We use shared server membership to suggest people you may know.
• Steam: Your Steam ID, profile name, avatar, and your Steam friends list. We store the identifiers in that list so we can show you which of your Steam friends already use IdkBox. Some of those identifiers belong to Steam accounts that are not IdkBox users; we use them for this matching and nothing else.
• Facebook: If you link a Facebook account, we receive your public profile and the list of your Facebook friends who also use IdkBox and have granted the same permission, which we use only to suggest friend connections. Linking Facebook does not create an IdkBox account and cannot be used to sign in. Facebook does not provide us with your full friends list.

We do not post to your connected accounts, and we do not use data from them for advertising.

You can unlink a connected account at any time from the Connections page in your IdkBox account settings. Unlinking deletes the data we received from that provider, including any stored server memberships and friend identifiers, and deletes the access token we hold for it. Deleting your IdkBox account removes this data as well.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and receipts
• Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages
• Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
• Prevent and address fraud, breach of policies or terms, and threats or harm

We may share your information with:

• Service providers: Third-party vendors who provide services on our behalf, such as payment processing and email delivery
• Legal requirements: When required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process
